Dire news comes from the South.  It seems that Ansteorra, specifically the Barony of Bordermarch who kidnapped a Gleann Abhann Ram last year and then put it through unspeakable horrors, is plotting once again.

Click through to see the message intercepted by the loyal Baron of Axemoor Master Charles de Bourbon.

Your most radiant Majesties and your most exalted Highnesses,

There has come into my possession a piece of intelligence from our agents in Ansteorra. Our devout and committed agents intercepted a missive from that dratted "Nomis" of Ansteorra to His Excellency of Brodermarch. It seems that Bordermarch is contemplating acts of treachery. They even speak of dining on roasted goaat, which I make no mistake is a euphemism for something else entirely.

I include in this letter a copy of the intercepted missive. The agression seems to be escalting, for last year those theiving Ansteorrans stole from Your royal herds, and now they make plans to move on populace in Your lands. Your shire of Blackmoor Keep may be in danger, as is made evident in these most diabolical of plans. Perhaps we should once again meet our neighbors on the field of battle at some future point and remind them we are fierce, we are proud, we are Gleann Abhann. We await Your wisdom and guidance.

I remain in your most loyal service,

Master Charles Pierre de Bourbon, OL
Baron of Axemoor

Herein is the missive from our agents in Ansteorra:

"Your Excelency Santiago,

Your suspicions were correct, the Shire of Blackmoor Keep is ripe for the pickings! Gleann Abhann seems to be preoccupied elsewhere and not aware of your plans. I say strike while the Iron is hot! We can annex this area with little to no trouble and then use it as a stepping off point for future growth of your lands.

I must say I did not think this type of treachery to be in you! I am pleasantly pleased that we will soon be on the march against our eastern "friends". Let us just hope the Baroness does not talk too much and spill the beans.

Bordermarch is on the move! I can taste the roasted goat already.

your freind

Nomis"
